ONGOING MINISTRIES

James 5:13-15: Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him." Whether you are in need of spiritual counseling, prayerful support, or are seeking a deeper walk with God, The Christian Healing Center opens its doors and heart to you with the following offerings. You may find one or all of them valuable on your path to spiritual enrichment and healing. Trained prayer ministers, masters level pastoral counselors, and spiritual directors are available to work with you in a safe, confidential atmosphere where healing can take place:

PERSONAL PRAYER MINISTRY:

Every person experiences hurts in life that significantly affect the individual's emotional, mental, physical and spiritual well being. Often these are wounds resulting from childhood and the teenage years of neglect or trauma. As adults, many people find themselves having to cope with fears, anxiousness, mood disorders, resentments, and unresolved grief. Personal prayer ministry addresses these areas in need of inner healing. Through "soaking Prayer" participants experience a deep healing of the heart and a release from a wide variety of bondage. Prayer recipients receive new freedom and joy, and a growing awareness of God's love, mercy, and goodness. Individual prayer sessions with two trained volunteer prayer ministers. Appointment times available Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. Please contact the Center to schedule an appointment. (760) 966 2956.

TWO-DAY INTENSIVE PRAYER MINISTRY;

Personal Testimony: "I thank God for the opportunity of attending the two-day intensive prayer ministry. I can't say enough about the two women who ministered to me. They were very prayerful, patient and unselfish of their time. They listened to my life's story. It was extremely healing to share with them events that I have never spoken about to anyone."
Two days of individual prayer ministry with trained ministers interspersed with teachings about healing. Teachings cover: God's love for his children, Forgiveness, Emotional healing, Vows and Judgments, Generational Healing. A Generational Eucharist is held the second day. This popular ministry is held the 3rd Tuesday and Wednesday of the Month, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please call the Center office for more information and a registration packet. (760 966 2956).

SPIRITUAL DIRECTION:

Personal Testimony: "I have become more prayerful, forgiving and insightful. I see God working in my life every day. I thank Him for yesterday, today and the mystery of the days that will unfold in the future."
Among the resources available to a Christian in order to deepen their journey with Christ is Spiritual Direction. It can be defined as a relationship of personal trust, in which the Holy Spirit, who is the real director, leads someone to follow a course of spiritual growth facilitated by another pilgrim on the journey. Spiritual Direction is different from pastoral counseling in that solving of problems is not its main goal. It is for the care of the spiritually healthy person and a way of life for many Christians. It is one of the historical ministries of the church. Not everyone is led to use Spiritual Direction, but it is for those who may simply have a yearning for a deeper walk with God. The directee should expect total confidentiality and the direction takes place in an environment of safety and peacefulness. Contact the Center to schedule and appointment.(760) 966-2956

PASTORAL COUNSELING:

Personal Testimony: "I was able to give the Lord my disappointments and frustrations. I was so blessed to have been prayed for by my sweet couple."
Pastoral Counseling is a unique form of psychotherapy that uses spiritual resources as well as psychological understanding for healing and growth. It is provided by certified pastoral counselors, who are mental health professionals and have also had in-depth religious and/or theological training. Pastoral Counseling is usually problem centered. Many personal and relational problems are resolved through understanding the nature of personal and spiritual conflicts. The Pastoral Counselor is trained to aid the individual in finding solutions to their problems through the use of psychological and spiritual tools. Great blessings can and do come through talking through difficulties that are plaguing our mind using insight from God's Word, knowledge from psychology and the power of prayer. Call the CHC to make appointment with a pastoral counselor. (760) 966-2956.

WALK-IN-PRAYER MINISTRY:

Personal Testimony: I experienced a tremendous healing in the areas of hurt and needing to forgive and let go. The prayer counselors were extremely helpful people of God, skilled counselors. I am so grateful for this experience, it was life changing."
The Center is open every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month without an appointment from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Center will be staffed with experienced prayer ministers who are ready and willing to spend time with you in prayer. If you would like prayer, come and experience God's love and presence.
